Marketing specialist Nancy Willen says the performing artist kicked the bucket in Los Angeles of respiratory disappointment. She was 88.

Gam featured with Gregory Peck in 1954's 'Night People' and 1971's 'Shoot Out' and with Jack Palance in 1954's 'Indication of the Pagan' and she additionally featured in the film "Hannibal," 'Ruler of Kings' and 'No Exit.'

She was conceived in Pittsburgh on April 2, 1927, and made her Broadway debut in 1946 preceding going ahead to a decades-in length profession in film and TV.

Gam was hitched to the late chief Sidney Lumet from 1949 until 1955, and was a dear companion of Grace Kelly. Gam was one of Kelly's bridesmaids when she wedded Prince Rainier III of Monaco.

She is made due by a girl and child from her marriage to distributer Thomas Guinzburg, and three grandchildren.
